3.1
Embrouille (2854) - SWITZERLAND - APR 3, 2009
Bottled 30cl. Courtesy of bierkoning. It pours a clear ruby beer. Raisins and candy dominating in the nose. Sweet malty taste. The alcohol is nicely hidden. Very sweet. Not too bad. Some lacework. Low carbonation. Highly drinkable. Sweet finish. Hints of washing up liquid. Surprisingly good. A lot better than Heineken Tarwebok for example. Thanks bierkoning!

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, amber beer with a small, beige head. Sugary, fruity nose with a herbal touch and some hops. Raisins too. The flavor is on the sweet side, fruit candy springs to mind, with a faint note of raisins and herbs. Medium body, sticky sweet. Overall, too sweet and candyish, but it doesn’t taste bad in any way. 110415

Christos (5889) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - NOV 11, 2012
Bottle of 330 ml, at home. Poured into a snifter glass. ABV 6,5%. Dark ruby colour with a finger of beige head. Low retention, no lacing left behind. Not much of a smell, some malts mostly. Taste is sweet, with malts, caramel and some alcohol traceable. A bit skunky. Little dryness on the palate, quite carbonated. Thin to medium body. Overall, certainly not the greatest of bocks, but I can say I am not as disappointed as I expected, by reading other reviews.

Countbeer (6599) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - OCT 25, 2010
Bottle: Airy off white foamy head, disappears quick. A deep dark brown colored beer. Smell is malts, sweet bit of unbalanced pissy pilsner hops. Taste is very sweet with lots of brown sugars, hints of dried darker fruits (like prunes) and malts. Creamy mouthfeel, spicy, normal to low carbo. More an Oud Bruin kind of bock.
