Draught at Kafe Belgie. Hazy golden coloured with a small white head. Fruity aroma of spices and hops. Fruity flavour of caramel, spices and hops. Spicy finish.

Hopverdju (834) - BELGIUM - OCT 12, 2016

33cl bottle. Clear golden with medium head which is surprising for a Belgian Ale. The aroma is Sponge cake, sugar, caramel, candied ginger, apricot esters with some banana and peach, pear and orange with cinnamon. There is also some alcohol. More or less typical triple. Mouth feel is creamy with medium carbonation. Taste is mostly sweet with sugar and fruity ester notes. Bitterness is covered by esters. The beer is still easy to drink thanks to spiciness and floral notes. OK.

Though this beer lacks depth, but it is not a bad thing. The beer is sweet, good palate. Not a great aroma and a clear yellow hue, no head. Bottle from De Zwart in Wilnis

A good beer, without actually lexelencia. I remember mol Duvel beer, without the quality and balance. Good graduation, good on gas meters have lacked a little more depth and subtle. But it is a beer again.
