knutole (75) - Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - JAN 6, 2014
bottle 50cl donated by fuckalicious fabi and jan (thanks). aroma: i’m a bit ill while drinking this beer (not the best condition for tasting something), but i’m smelling raisins, caramel, toffee, pepper, some sweet and fruity notes; appearance: amber to dark brown, nice colour, but the foam is gone in a minute; taste: surprisingly thin beer with a nice palate, you can taste the dark malt on the tongue quite a long time, refreshing and slightly sweet beverage, quite bitter and hoppy, citrus, which gives the aroma a nice touch, caramel at the end. nice beer, but nothing you could drink the whole evening

Quack-Duck (9487) - Down South, GERMANY - DEC 27, 2013
bottle, donated by jaghana - merci! Deep amber-golden colour, mid-sized off-white head. Malty start, grassy hops with hints of hay, also hints of honey present. Rather nice!

Bottle 33cl, a clear copper beer, nose is low. Aroma on caramel, nutty with grassy hops, light spices, artificial finish, floral, ok but not exiting at all.
