500ml bottle. hazy unfiltered yellow-tan. Lots of active rising carbonation bubbles lead to a fluffy white head. Fresh, enjoyable aroma. Comes off fresher, more enjoyable than most German beers I buy..first time I’ve seen this on the shelves. Dry, grassy, zesty noble hop tones balance out the earthy, almost wheat touched malt body. Pretty much a great Lager, something my palate is hungry for. Medium bodied, very sessionable, but with some depth. Well done, I’d buy it again. andzej (6) - POLAND - NOV 12, 2014 does not count
Nice German pilsner. Herbal, mineral aromas with bit of malty sweetnes. Foamy, irregular head. Very light yelow colour not completly clear but shady. Nice bitternes with flowery, earl grey tea aftertaste. Very light and refreshing. PGHbeer77 (571) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 3, 2012
Half Liter Swing Top Bottle from Germany. Overall, a solid pilsener with a ton of flavor. The weak point was the scent, which was a very faint grain. Hazy yellow pour with a foamy white head. A medium/light body with a frothy feel. Pilsener flavor through and through! Big grain taste, potent.

UPDATED: MAR 9, 2014 New rating (March 9, 2014): This beer is different than what I remember the first time I had it. The beer I had last night was very malty-- more like a Czech pilsner than a German one-- and not crisp at all. Nose was maple malts. The head was sometimes very decent with excellent foamy lacing, and sometimes it dissipated quickly (I had 3 bottles). The wheat and straw overtones were very noticeable. Still a very light body like before, with a watery finish. Does not hold up to food. Still a decent pilsner in my book, and way better than any American Pils I have tried.
June 2, 2013 (original rating): Hazy and light straw colored. Rich and tasty Noble/Saaz hops that let you know you are drinking a fine German pilsner. Very clean and smooth finish, almost unusually so. I don’t understand the many comments stating this doesn’t taste like a pilsner. Actually it does, but a very light one. What we have here is the fresh and flavorful hop profile of a fine Bavarian pilsner with the clean and dry finish of a Kolsch. This beer does not hold up well to food, and becomes bland even from light snacking. Please enjoy on its own. enidlesim (73) - - JUL 17, 2016
Wonderful beer I've enjoyed since moving to Germany 8 years ago. Sure it's not spectacular, it doesn't blow your mind. But it's readily available in Karlsruhe and has a lovely sweet, rich hoppy balance and lightness that makes it perfect on the hot BW summer nights. Kinda reminds me of a Krausen: straw, green, fresh and light but has a good rich quality to it. When you're in the Getränksmarkt and want a great quaffable light summer beer which has some depth: this satisfies.

Bottle from Aldi. Disappointed and slightly hurt by some of the low scores here. Really enjoyed this hazy pleasure giver. Lemon, wheat biscuit malt. Good length of flavour, crisp, full. One of the better Kellers that I’ve tried. McTapps (6856) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - AUG 3, 2012

500 ml fliptop bottle from Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa, CA. Opened with a pop. Pours hazy gold with a slight white head. Aroma of bread and light stone fruit. More malt than fruit. Near med body. Flavor is slightly citrus or tart, but lightly yeasty/bready with stone fruit esters. Not strongly flavored, but nicely flavored. Finishes neither sweet nor very bitter.
