Swing top bottle, 500 ml at home, thaks Sabine! Into a pilsner glass, ABV 5.5% Bright golden yellow colour on the body, lots of activity in it. Two fingers of white head, with average retention and light lacing left behind. Aroma of sweet malts, grass, also some light hops. Taste is also sweet, malts, grass, very clean. A little bit of bitterness on the aftertaste. Thin body, low carbonation, the result is a bit watery. Overall okay, nothing very special to deserve being seasonal.

Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a nice medium goldencolor. Aromas of wheat bread, caramel malts, and a touch of hops. Flavors of caramel, toffee, and a nice smooth finish.

Really? This is your special seasonal? Shame on you! This is almost in pale lager class, it’s so bland and boring....I expected better.

Bottle from Aldi, golden with a big collapsing head and a corny aroma with a hint of dry grass. Meant to be a Festbier, but comes over more as a strongish Eurolager.

Bottle from Aldi. Average sweet lager. Didn’t strike me as particular festive. Good boozinezz though. OK.

50cl fliptop. Basically another Märzen/Oktoberfest relabeled as Xmas seasonal, making the most of a basic March/Oct/Dec recipe. This one is particularly Pils-bitterhopped, with an extra grain-husk bitterness. Worty aroma, unpleasant grainy aftertaste on a caramel mid. Almost brave in its execution of the style, pointless in its seasonality.

500ml bottle. Pours dark gold with a medium head. Aroma is bready, orange and wet cardboard. Taste is bready with some watery orange squash on the finish.
