Bamberg Bash Day 3. Train swig. Lightly hazy gold beer, very pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and airy with modest carbonation. Sweetish pale malt, light floral sweetness. Light peel fruits and a little bitterness in the soft finish. Not bad.
Herb-würziger Antrunk. Bald kommt eine sehr leichte Hopfennote dazu, die Würzigkeit ändert sich und wirkt nun brauseartig. Süffig, etwas süßlich, erfrischend. 8/9/9/9//9

Bottle on a train during Jolly to Bamberg 2014. Clear pale golden beer with a small white head. Malty fruity aroma, bready, grapes, citrus, cereal, hay notes. Malty creamy flavor, biscuits, bready, vanilla notes. Really nice. Oakes (18776) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 14, 2009
Ceramic mug. Golden and hazy. The aroma is minerals and butter....argh...but wait, a new barrel has been tapped! Frabjous day! Thick head. Herbal, woody aroma - where’d that butter go? Minerally, light hops, herbal. Refreshing character. Well, the butter at the end of the old barrel wasn’t good but the fresh barrel is a totally different animal, much better. Thanks bierkoning! Golden color, slightly hazy, small white head and some lace. Grainy aroma with some subdued fruityness. Medium-bodied. Grainy with sharp hoppy bitterness and papery maltyness. Long lingering hoppy aftertaste. Also fruity notes with perharps some faint diacetyl. Classic, tasty Kellerbier.
500ml bottle (One Pint Pub, Helsinki, German Weeks mid-2011) - shared by oh6gdx - thanks!
Dry papery aroma. Even more papery in the taste, but there’s a nice leafy fresh hoppiness that saves it. Dry and well attenuated. However, too papery generally.
