Draught at the Schwana-Keller. Fruity aroma, slightly flowery. The appearance is hard to judge in the ceramic mug. Good yeasty and fruity flavour. Low carbonation. Subtle and nice. Well-balanced. capoccetta (171) - roma, ITALY - DEC 21, 2010

Medium white head. Slightly hazy pale yellow body. Mealy strawy fruity aroma with minty dusty notes. Dry-sweet dusty minty strawy taste with grassy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, dusty mouthfeel. Dryish dusty grainy grassy aftertaste with minty notes. Lovely! Extremely drinkable. (0.25l draft at In de Wildeman, Amsterdam.) Oakes (18209) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 14, 2009
Ceramic mug. Golden and hazy. The aroma is minerals and butter....argh...but wait, a new barrel has been tapped! Frabjous day! Thick head. Herbal, woody aroma - where’d that butter go? Minerally, light hops, herbal. Refreshing character. Well, the butter at the end of the old barrel wasn’t good but the fresh barrel is a totally different animal, much better.

Bottle on a train during Jolly to Bamberg 2014. Clear pale golden beer with a small white head. Malty fruity aroma, bready, grapes, citrus, cereal, hay notes. Malty creamy flavor, biscuits, bready, vanilla notes. Really nice. ThirstyBird (2968) - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 15, 2015
From a flip-top bottle, pours a hazy golden color with a cream colored lid. The smell is bread, toasted malt, nuts, grass. The taste is as it smells with a bit of citrus and a somewhat dry and herbal ending. The beer has a light+ body with nice fine carbonation. Nice Kellerbier. Holzfass @ the Schwankeller. In krug, with lasting tight off-white head. The aroma is granola, sweeter than it is hoppy with some mineral content. The palate is quaffable, juicy, and oily. Flavors are drier, hoppier, leafier, and grassier than the aromas. More floral than the aroma lets on too. Has black pepper spice in the nice finish. Had a pint with diacetyl issues but they changed the barrel and the fresh pint was fine.
