pivnizub (10615) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JUN 20, 2007
Bottle: Dark-amber coloured, smaller fluffy off-white head, rather quickly collapsing; shy dryish-malty/roastmalty nose with a tinge of molasses and fruitiness waving through the backroom; moderate dry bitter (malty9 flavour, light- to medium-bodied, slightly lingering bitter-sweet finish with aromas of liquorice and vinous fruitiness in the aftertaste. Quite good, but seems to be a Schwarzbier.......

MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - MAY 28, 2007
(bottle) Clear, reddish brown colour with fluffy tanned foamy head. Light-sweet and slightly roasty malt aroma with a touch of caramel, cacao and shy hints of herbal hops. Bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Initially quite slim and slightly roasty malty taste with a faint touch of bread crusts; the finish is more interesting: dryish, slightly roasted with a good dose of bittering herbal hops. Decent, but not an overwhelming Dunkel.

DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 21, 2007
Aroma is seriously floural honey, a touch of alcohol, roasted malts edge in at times. Taste is bitter roasted malts, some light spice, carbonation hides most things to be honest.

rpattinson (84) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 7, 2005
Chicory, toffee, pepper and malt aroma; sweetish/bitterish taste with cream, malt, liquorice and toffee aromas; bitter finish with black toffee, coffee and pepper aromas. An excellent dark lager that is just about dry enough to be in the schwarzbier style.
