Chestnut coloured beer with medium-lasting, medium-sized, creme coloured, sticky head. Keeps some foam. Aromas of red berries, grassy and floral hops, caramel, cheesy yeast, nice toffee, roasted malt, coffee andcereals . Nice roasted malt in taste, not too sweet, light salty but unfortunately a bit waterish. Light alcohol in aftertaste. Bottle: Dark-amber coloured, smaller fluffy off-white head, rather quickly collapsing; shy dryish-malty/roastmalty nose with a tinge of molasses and fruitiness waving through the backroom; moderate dry bitter (malty9 flavour, light- to medium-bodied, slightly lingering bitter-sweet finish with aromas of liquorice and vinous fruitiness in the aftertaste. Quite good, but seems to be a Schwarzbier.......
