500ml bottle pours a golden color with a 2 finger white head that disappears quite quickly leaving some thick spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is grainy and fruity kind of cider-like. Taste is a grainy malt sweetness with and earthy and spicy hop bitterness. Light to medium body with good carbonation pleasing the palate. A decent helles style lager that is worth trying at least once. envane (586) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 11, 2012
Hazy gold with a white head. Aroma of malt and grass. Taste is quite sweet pale malt with some honey and light bitterness with a sweet finish. Chewy texture. Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2012
It’s slightly hazy dark golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, butter (not unpleasant), light fruit and a touch of bread. The flavor has a light sweetness and is a bit thin-bodies with notes of malt, light butter, straw, light bread and fruit, the finish is dry. hawanna (3400) - Freising, GERMANY - APR 21, 2012

bread, cereal, floral, herbs, golden, hazy, minimal head, white foam, light sweetness, medium bitterness, medium sourness, light body, thin feel, average carbonation, bitter, long finish, Ernest (7981) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 1, 2012
Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is hazy medium yellow, unfiltered.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain/cereal), lightly hoppy (flowers), with notes of DMS and soap.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly unclean.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Pretty difficult to enjoy...the nose is rather cereal-ish (think corn feed) and has obvious DMS. There is some hop scent to help a bit, but it’s really pretty clunky/swilly. Rather sour in the mouth without a lot of bitterness, and the aftertaste is not very clean. It’s not quite repulsive, but it’s still quite sad...which is surprising and disappointing considering that it’s apparently bottle conditioned.

Palate / Taste: medium light bodied. Slight notes of corn, dust with soft golden malt. Soft diacetyl spread.
500 ml bottle poured a hazy yellow with a lasting creamy white head. Aroma of straw, bread dough, citrus, spicy hops and light grassiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of bread dough and spicy hops with a smooth lightly bitter finish. obguthr (7079) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - DEC 31, 2011
Shitty hay nose, lesser bean notes. Light amber, medium snow white head. Light sweet malt, hay, and bean flavor. A bit weak and not so great. crossovert (14433) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 25, 2011
500ml returnable bottle. 08.09.2012. Technically it is a Riedenburger beer.
It pours a clear golden with a semi fizzy/foamy white head.
The smell is pretty fragrant. It isn’t always that you get imports to smell this much. It has a lot of grassy noble hops, some honeylike malt, and more grain, bready malt. Pretty standard.
This is a typical Riedenburger beer in the flavor. Slight tartness, grainy, a lot of undefinable sweetness. Carbonation is nice. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the Spezial form Riedenburger just repackaged.
Overall just a really standard helles. cubs (10746) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - DEC 18, 2011
Bottle @ home. Just showed up in Colorado and looks pretty interesting. Here goes... Pours a hazy, golden yellow appearance with a big white head. Pretty tame, lightly grassy/floral hoppy, light pils/pale malty aroma. Light, crisp, a touch grainy, pils/pale malty, straw flavor. Pretty boring but I can’t find any faults in it.
