Hell herber, ziemlich milder Antrunk. Kaum würzig, schnell deutlich milder werdend. Die milde, etwas trockene Herbe bleibt das stärkste Aroma. Belanglos. 7/6/7/6/6/6 Ratman197 (14838) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JAN 8, 2012
500 ml bottle poured a hazy yellow with a lasting creamy white head. Aroma of straw, bread dough, citrus, spicy hops and light grassiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of bread dough and spicy hops with a smooth lightly bitter finish. Tmoney99 (14490) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 24, 2013
Bottle shared at Natifest ’13. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate hop and dough malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met. Half liter bottle from Whole Foods Market Charlottesville. Pours a hazy golden color with a thin fizzy white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of grain and corn with a bit of nuttiness and a little bit grassy. The taste is pale grainy malts with herbal, grassy hops and a slight sweetness in the finish. Thin and watery. crossovert (12934) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 25, 2011
500ml returnable bottle. 08.09.2012. Technically it is a Riedenburger beer.
It pours a clear golden with a semi fizzy/foamy white head.
The smell is pretty fragrant. It isn’t always that you get imports to smell this much. It has a lot of grassy noble hops, some honeylike malt, and more grain, bready malt. Pretty standard.
This is a typical Riedenburger beer in the flavor. Slight tartness, grainy, a lot of undefinable sweetness. Carbonation is nice. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the Spezial form Riedenburger just repackaged.
Overall just a really standard helles.

Bottle @ home. Just showed up in Colorado and looks pretty interesting. Here goes... Pours a hazy, golden yellow appearance with a big white head. Pretty tame, lightly grassy/floral hoppy, light pils/pale malty aroma. Light, crisp, a touch grainy, pils/pale malty, straw flavor. Pretty boring but I can’t find any faults in it. pivnizub (10619) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - FEB 3, 2010
Bügelverschlußflasche (courtesy of joss!): Hazy, lots of floaties visible, rather stable small white head, moderate honeyish-malty nose with a light hoppy background; light to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, quite soft; short and light bitter-sweet finish. O.K., but a bit lame..... BVery (10510) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - FEB 8, 2014
Bottle. Pale murky yellow gold pour with a small soapy white head. Sweet grain and malt nose. Taste is pretty sweet and otherwise not that interesting. phaleslu (10267) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 5, 2013
500 ml bottle shared by DrSilverworm- thanks again, Chris! Pours a clear gold with a medium white head. Notes of pale and bready malts, some grass, straw- not much to it. Bready, malty, sweet, and dry. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation. Works for what it is. Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2012
It’s slightly hazy dark golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, butter (not unpleasant), light fruit and a touch of bread. The flavor has a light sweetness and is a bit thin-bodies with notes of malt, light butter, straw, light bread and fruit, the finish is dry.
