Bottled. Dark ruby red colour, mediumsized beige foamy head. Caramel, roasted malts, barley and burnt sugar in aroma. Smoked peat (turf) in flavour along with malts. Also some strong caramellish hints. Very pleasant!
Nett! 9/11/11/11/8/11

In the middle of a lot of boring lager "investments" or "experiences" I found this on a shelf in a local supermarket in Northern Italy. Dark brown/amber with good white head. Malty fruity/nutty aroma. Roasted malts - caramel flavor. Body is light thin and overall very simple however very drinkable dunkel. Reminds me of Ale nr. 15 from Refsvindinge - this one has a few more roasted notes though! HenrikSoegaard (14101) - Randers, DENMARK - JUL 6, 2009
Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and roasted/burnt aroma. Light sweet and very caramellic flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate. When in tourist area in Italy and no micros available this is very very good. bierkoning (13243) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - JUL 9, 2007
Bottle, found in a supermarket in Kastelruth, Italy. Cocoa aroma and flavor. Sweet and sugary, somewhat grainy. Thin, but quite pleasant.

.5l bottle at Marko’s, first beer of the week, thanks. Deep brown cola, foamy brown head. Deep smoky malt. Sweet murky body. Lactic note. Juicy body, cardboard finish. eh. Marko (5597) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - JUN 17, 2013
0.5l bottle from a Famila in Jesolo, Italy. Cola dark red body, bubbles clinging to the edge of the glass, medium sized tan head going staying there long enough. Nice, if light aroma, grainy maltiness going to coffee, some dust. The taste... eh, not as much, the pleasant coffee notes are still there, but deep in the background, the foreground is a slightly tangy, vaguely appley weak bitterness that just doesn’t match the background well. In the end it just tastes kinda diluted. Oh, well, didn’t expect wonders. zacgillbanks (5128) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - DEC 28, 2013
UPDATED: AUG 17, 2015 Bottle from Eurospar supermarket, Malcesine, Italy. This is a very dark brown-chestnut coloured beer with malty, chocolate and roasted notes followed by red fruit and a nutty finish. jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - SEP 30, 2007
