heavy (2808) - Split, CROATIA - AUG 12, 2009
01/08 0.5 l bottle from Interspar, Udine. It poured reddish to brown body with small beige head. Malty caramel and burnt sugar in its aroma. Slightly coffee flavor, otherwise normal sweet dark malts, like caramel, sugar and some fruitiness. Unfortunately thin in body and watery. Short, somewhat industrial sweet finish. Not bad, but could be much better with some body.

Pours a dark brown color, topped with a rather small sized tan colored head. In teh aroma, you can find some caramel malt with some gentle coffee notes. Taste starts sweet, caramel presence with a bit of a soury feel. Some coffee notes. Not the best one, but pretty adequate.

Malt, liquorice aroma. Mahogany colour with a lively/frothy head. Berry flavour. A bit yeasty maybe. Liquorice in the flavour also. The beer has a tangy bitter finish.
