Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and roasted/burnt aroma. Light sweet and very caramellic flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate. When in tourist area in Italy and no micros available this is very very good. Gethinbeer (2452) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - JUL 28, 2009
Malt, liquorice aroma. Mahogany colour with a lively/frothy head. Berry flavour. A bit yeasty maybe. Liquorice in the flavour also. The beer has a tangy bitter finish. Kita (2146) - Koper, SLOVENIA - JUN 19, 2012
Bottled, 0.5l. Clear dark brown color with small brown head and no visible carbonation. Aroma of dark malts, caramel, coffee and some vanilla. Taste starts with sweet roasted malt and caramel, followed by coffee notes. Mouthfeel is warming, while finish is mildly hoppy, although coffee prevails. Medium body, sticky texture and soft carbonation in palate. With fuller body this beer would be even better... Geiserich (4519) - Linz, AUSTRIA - JAN 3, 2004
Dark brown color, frothy off-white head. Malty, light sweet aroma with coffe notes. Taste is malty and light sweet, roasted malt notes and an light bitter aftertaste. A hint to sweet for me... Aldrighetti (163) - Coltura, ITALY - MAR 19, 2004
Bottled. Pale nut brown head, glass sticking, reddish-brown body. Aroma of malt, roasted malt, light caramel, ground coffee. Taste is malty, also roasted malt, weak smokey flavor, restrained coffee bitterness, I think no more than 20 BU. Body is a too thin, light, very watery texture. The brewer forgot what "body" means?

01/08 0.5 l bottle from Interspar, Udine. It poured reddish to brown body with small beige head. Malty caramel and burnt sugar in its aroma. Slightly coffee flavor, otherwise normal sweet dark malts, like caramel, sugar and some fruitiness. Unfortunately thin in body and watery. Short, somewhat industrial sweet finish. Not bad, but could be much better with some body.
