Crude oil black, thin ringing head. Hoppy roast aroma, slightly sweet. Flavor mirrors the aroma, with some milkiness, savory/meaty, sugary, moderately coffeeish. Slightly heavy body. Mellow finish. Solid. Meehan's Public House, tap, Atlanta with LuckyDog. GTAEgeek (2569) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JAN 2, 2018
12 oz. can. Thanks, Tim! Pours black, with a small, fizzy, beige head. Light cocoa, brown sugar, black pepper, caramel, and a bit of coffee. Sweet and malty, with a bit of bitterness. Medium body, with a smooth, malty, and velvety mouthfeel. This is a well made, simple, and delicious stout. oobawa (1918) - Tennessee, USA - DEC 15, 2017
Tasty coffee milk stout, creamy and smooth with an admirable balance between chocolate sweetness, coffee acidity, and a dry, hoppy bitterness. Chocolate, strong dark java, and deep roasted malts form the heart of the pint, while hints of anise, caramel, pine, and dark fruit float around the periphery. Coffee cherries and pine grow stronger towards the finish, while the fade offers notes of bakers chocolate, pumpernickel bread, and char. Pours brown-black with a thick tan head and ample lace. Aroma offers up chocolate, wood, and coffee. Slick texture is oh so drinkable. Lovely pint. drfabulous (8991) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - JUN 5, 2017
Draught at Hop City. Big dark and rich milk stout with creamy body and some chocolate and lactose. nimbleprop (9022) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - MAY 4, 2017
12oz can pours a muddy, brown / black with some cloudy, sand colored head. Nose has brown and black toasted malts, some nice milk chocolate notes, dank coffee bean. Flavor is sweet with milk chocolate, brown sugar but the coffee note is there. There’s a distinct soda note; not quite cola but not quite cream soda. Finishes mostly dry.

Coffee more than milk but really tasty. The texture is somewhat creamy and reminiscent of the milky aspects of the style. The coffee adds some bitterness. Good sweetness and body. Tasty chinchill (5449) - South Carolina, USA - FEB 4, 2017
UPDATED: FEB 5, 2017 On tap in Atlanta.
Clear, dark red-brown body with a good beige head.
Smooth, medium body with rather medium carbonation.
Excellent aroma and flavor with a good balance between dark roasted grains and coffee, and with high quality in both of these. Fine, lingering aftertaste of coffee and stout.
Overall: exceptional. rollinsr (852) - Atlanta, GEORGIA - JAN 21, 2017

Darn good coffee stout. Creamy chocolate, nice coffee notes. Smooth and just a kick of bitterness at end. Great stuff! Travlr (26942) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - DEC 3, 2016
Draft at the source. Opaque dark brown color. Earthy cocoa powder aroma. Taste starts sweet then earthy coffee. Very tasty.
