It offers a finely wooded nose hinting at hazelnut, and is therefore distinct from traditional British scotches. It has a more rounded taste letting a discreetly full-bodied bitterness come to the fore, and will naturally seduce you.
Ingredients: Water, pale ale malt, caramel malt, aromatic malt, sugar, yeast, Kent hop, hallertau hop.

Bottle of 33cl, in a Trappist glass; from the fridge. Good scotch-like beer : aroma and first taste nearly as a stout, backed up with some sweet brown sugar notes. Yeasty a little. Would maybe drink this again.

SVD (2275) - NETHERLANDS - JAN 17, 2018
Glass, red brown beer, small head. Aroma is malt, caramel, roast. Taste is the same, sweet some bitter, dusty palette, some metal. Meh

Bitterbill (2078) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - JAN 16, 2018
$2 for the 330 ml bottle, no dating to be found. Pours a deep brown red, appears to be clear, very small short lasting head of off white foam, some lacing. Caramel and toasted malt smell, I sense some oxidation. Taste is of caramel, toasted bread, butterscotch, cardboard, and a cherry like fruitiness. Pretty big body with very low carbonation. Past its prime I'm sure but not bad. A nice warming factor going on.

BillWyce (1128) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 9, 2018
Pours opaque nut brown with a touch of red. Lots of bubbling along the side of the glass. Small, thin bone-colored head. Peat aroma mixed with wood. A touch of wine comes through as well. Body is medium-to-full, and a touch syrupy. Lightly boozy finish. Peaty malt flavor mixed with barrel wood. A bit of tart cherry from the wine follows, with nutty malt at the back.

Vells (2056) - Rīga, LATVIA - DEC 7, 2017
Nice maltiness, caramel, candy bit raisins, bit nutty, some floral hops. Moderate to intense sweetness with light biterness. Decent

ciocanelu (3233) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - NOV 25, 2017
Dark amber color with beige head. Aroma is mostly malty and sugary with some dark fruits and earthy notes in the background. Taste has a weird sweetness, like unfermented worth mixed with fermented beer. Sugary at first with some earthy hop bitterness on the finish. Medium body with medium to low carbonation. Really weird, unbalanced beer.

defabant (85) - ITALY - NOV 6, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 7, 2017 Più che discreta birra scotch, gusto caramellato e abbastanza dolce ma senza essere troppo invadente.
