scotty (1208) - SCOTLAND - SEP 2, 2012
Cask at the Fox and Hounds, Denholm, just along the road from the brewery. Burnt gold in colour, with a finger thick white head, lasts well, leaving an attractive lace. Well balnced brew with good malt presence and a big citrus hoppy bite, crackin’ stuff! We walked 5 miles from Hawick to try this, well worth the trek!

imdownthepub (14554) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 18, 2011
Cask conditioned at Burts Hotel, Melrose, Scottish Borders. Amber with white head. Light bittersweet beer, quite soft and fruity with a light bready note. Lasting on the palate, really quite pleasant.

BlackHaddock (7346) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUN 12, 2015
500ml bottle poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 12th June 2015. Clear amber body, smooth white blanket of foam on top. Caramel like malty molasses in the aroma, toffee notes also. The taste is leaning towards sweetness from the start, a drier and slightly bitter finish awaits you at the end of each sip. My sweet tooth liked this, the semi-sweet maltiness pushing the hops well back in the ’Game Bird’ pecking order (see what I did there?) throught the brew until the last drop.

Bullit (4637) - Burgos, SPAIN - SEP 13, 2011
Cask @ Doctors. Slightly hazy golden colour, off-white bubbly head. Nose is citric, fruity. Flavour is citric, followed by biscuit malts. Fruity and drinkable.

Stuartyboy (1669) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - MAR 16, 2013
On cask at the doctor’s clear amber beer with grassy and citrus notes slight underlying honey sweetness

Oakes (17676) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 3, 2014
Bubbly head, bronze-amber colour. Dark stone fruits and lively pale and amber malts - balance and complexity. Tastes a bit simpler, with a dash if caramel, diacetyl, and not as bright a hop character.

downender (8659) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 12, 2011
Cask-conditioned at the Filmhouse, Edinburgh 7/06/2011. Amber in colour with a slight, off-white head. Malty, apricot and caramel aroma with a slightly yeast edge to it. Flavour was sweetish, with plenty of summer fruits, a hint of spice and dryish finish. Good.
