Growler… RBSG 2014… Hazy mahogany pour with flashes of copper and a small, creamy, off-white head. The bouquet is an assortment of figs, dates and other dark, dried, sugary fruits. Full-bodied with lazy carbonation. The flavor presents a blend of chocolate, caramel and toasted tree nuts, followed by a modest measure of lingering bitterness.

Growler @ Bus. Dark caramel/chestnut colored pour with a khaki head. Lots of licorice and cocoa aromas. A hint of ash, some earthy and floral hops, and caramel malts. Flavor is lightly bitter. Fair amount of molasses and caramel sweetness. Some floral hops, a bit of ash, and a bunch of cocoa. Decent anise character. Just okay.

Howler RBSG 2014: Deep amber hue with a small fading off white head. Very nutty, caramel, floral, malty and a bit minerally. Sweet and malty without being cloy. Faint coffee like bitterness. Smooth soft carbonated mouth feel with a dry finish. Neato to have try once.
