RBSG2016, I think strykzone brought this one. Growler. Sweeter attractive aroma. Darker pale. Barley any co2. Warming sensations on the first taste. Yes warming down the throat as well. Nice leathery feel on this one. Not bitter. Quite enjoyable from my sample. Has a somewhat chalky finish. . Thanks stryker!

From a half growler courtesy of Strykzone at RBSG Grand Tasting. From growler, BRSG grand tasting. Poured copper with white head. Nose of a mess of herbs and other stuff. Medium body. Flavor is better than the aroma and citrus appears along with spices and there is an earthy finish Ends up drinking OK.

Sampler at the brewery. Called an ESB with an ABV of 5.8% on my visit. Not sure if it is the same beer. Mid brown. Toasty caramel aroma and flavor. Cooked brown sugar. Earthiness. Soft bitterness. A floral note behind. Graham crackers. Sulfur in back . Quite dry. An interesting improvement over most ESBs.

On tap at the brewpub - Pours dull copper / orange with an off-white head. The aroma is very herbal along with toasty malt and a smoothness to it. It has a medium smooth body with a good amount of gentle carbonation. The flavor starts with toasty dry malt, woody branches and dry herbs. The finish is very earthy and dry. Good.
