nybol (2351) - DENMARK - JUL 10, 2017
Den er helt stout agtig, meget mørk og god smag af chokolade. Har den klassiske stoutsmag.

larsga (7657) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 4, 2012
Big brown head. Nearly opaque black body shows some deep dark red. Roasty earthy minty aroma with burnt perfumy notes. Dry-sweet chocolatey burnt taste with earthy resiny notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry earthy chocolatey licorice aftertaste with gooseberry roasty notes. Nice, highly drinkable, and full of flavour. (0.5l bottle, Kihoskh, Copenhagen.)

3.3

Pours a clear and dark brown beer with a beige head. The aroma is malt, caramel, chocolate and notes of burnt. The flavor follows the nose with additional hops with citrus. The palate is bitterness with some sweetness. Overall a good beer.

Odense Catching Up on Stuff Left in the Cellar Event July 2012. Near black with a lasting tan head. Aroma of toffee, chocolate and dried fruit. Sweetish toffee and chocolate flavour with a faint meaty smoke note, and a touch of charcoal

Miksu (5052) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JUN 26, 2012
0.5 l bottle from Barley Wine, Copenhagen. Opaque dark brown color. Sweet aroma of raisins, toffee. Dryer flavor with raisins, figs, coffee, nuts, charcoal and licorice. Medium to full body, high carbonation. Lots of vinous dark fruits, reminds Old Peculiar. Unfortunately carbonation is too high.

3.1

Little grey head, black. Nose with dark bitter chockolate and a little coffee - pure and powerfurll. Medium body and semi length. The soft taste is full of chockolate and coffee. Overall a fine but powerfull US Brown Ale.

3.4
Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - APR 2, 2012
It’s black with a red hue and the head is creamy and light brown, and the aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate and a little overripe oranges. The flavor has a light sweetness and is fairly dry. It is quite stout like with notes of roasted malt, licorice, and a little overripe fruit. The finish is dry with a light bitterness. I like this one!

3.3
