(Bottle 18/01-2012) Low brown head, almost black color, roasted aroma. Thoor84 (67) - ICELAND - DEC 29, 2011
black with brown head. Aroma: lot of coffee, malt, some chocolate. Taste: lot of coffee and chocolate and some vanilla as well. Starts of very sweet and follows through with a lot of bitterness. Pretty thick beer. Little too carbonated imo. Not bad, but not great. Bragesnak (5394) - Aarhus, DENMARK - DEC 27, 2011

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of chrisv10. Pours an opaque black with a lovely creamy and lacing beige head. Sweet hard roast nose with quite some vanilla. Solid body, roasty indeed but also some chewy dried dark fruits. A little late ashes. Subdued malty bitterness. Fortunately the spices are very downplayed. 261111 yngwie (17038) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 26, 2011
Bottle. Looking really pretty in the glass this one, with its finger-thick tan head and jet black body. It smells nice too, chocolate, roasted malts and some coffee. A touch of licorice and ashtray too. The flavor is lighlty burnt, with chocolate, coffee, some licorice and enough sweetness to make it drinkable. Full-bodied, smooth and semi-sweet. Lasting finish. Hides the alcohol weel. I’d like more hops detectable in this one, else it’s a really nice beer. 111126 chrisv10 (17275) - DENMARK - NOV 26, 2011
