The aroma is brown sugar, dark chocolate and coffee. The taste is dark chocolate, good coffee and a hint of orange and cinnamon. Heavy, rich and satisfying mouth feeling. Its a little surprising and different flavor with orange and cinnamon makes the unsurpassed. charlotte (5414) - rødovre, DENMARK - NOV 25, 2011

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a huge dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, and coffee. The flavor is sweet with notes of coffee, roasted malt, vanilla, cinnamon, and wood, leading to a dry coffeeish finish.

Bottle. Looking really pretty in the glass this one, with its finger-thick tan head and jet black body. It smells nice too, chocolate, roasted malts and some coffee. A touch of licorice and ashtray too. The flavor is lighlty burnt, with chocolate, coffee, some licorice and enough sweetness to make it drinkable. Full-bodied, smooth and semi-sweet. Lasting finish. Hides the alcohol weel. I’d like more hops detectable in this one, else it’s a really nice beer. 111126 HenrikSoegaard (14448) - Randers, DENMARK - DEC 3, 2011
