COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an American style amber ale with distinctive hop flavor and aroma. The hop character is a result of the blending of Mt. Hood and Willamette hops. It is highlighted by the light amber color and balanced by malt undertones. We recommend this beer for those who enjoy hop characteristics, but don’t want to be overwhelmed by them.

Pours clear copper with not much of head or lacing. Hint of malt and hops on both the aroma and taste. So so. I’m thinking that ambers are not really my style.

Aroma, very mouthy nutty slight Henner strawberry and spice. Appearance, massive off-white head, streaming carbonation with a perfect amber color. Taste malty, spicy, bitter taste with some alcohol present. Palate, heavy carbonation long tongue and finishes somewhat bitter. Overall, an average beer. Head and carbonation are borderline extreme . Pretty deep Malty , nutty flavor with a strong bitter finish. Flavor component has good deapth but it would be better if it carbonation was toned down.

Comparing to my amber of choice, Drop Top, this is slightly watery but an acceptable taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Brewklopedia, Leicester. Amber and clear with an off-white head. Resin, papaya and rubbing alcohol in the aroma. Bitter taste with a good hit of malty sweetness on the finish. Boozy aftertaste. This is really raw and messy.

Clear copper pour. Malty, bready, mild hoppy bitterness, bit of banana. I thought this is pretty reasonable.

355ml bottle. Clear amber colour with a small beige head. Aroma: fruity hops and biscuity malt, caramel. Taste: initially quite sweet but it mellows over time, nutty biscuity malt, fruity hops. Low bitterness, low carbonation, medium body. Meh. My favourite thing about this beer is the artwork on the label.

The foam a little bit of sweetness, and then a little bitterness, drink easy, no depth of flavor, taste remains medicines I do not recommend

maekchu (3847) - Hirakata, JAPAN - JUL 1, 2016
Bottle from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Sour fruity nose, dates, dark fruit, seaweed, and smoke(?). Quite fragrant. Pinkish Amber color. Very sweet initial, with berries, overripe peaches, moderately sharp hopping. Medium body. Very sharp fruit flavors. Quite heavy for an amber. Getting a bit close to its drink-by date... Maybe too ripe?
