Powerfully malty DIPA. Earthy with some rough citrus in the back. Some resin accompanied by caramel sweetness. Strong bitter finish. Harsh but good. Lonick (1874) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 18, 2016
Bottle @home (Euro-vision 2016 tasting.) Pours golden/orange, white head. Nose is orange, fruit cocktail juice (syrup). Taste is orange and caramel with a bitter finish. jinroh (1605) - ESTONIA - SEP 23, 2016
Pours darker, slight amber in the colour I guess. Aroma displays some earth and herbal hops. This is not your sweet tropical IPA but more like earthy and harsh. Balance is still well developed, so when drinking it, you get a bit of biscuits, malt dust and yes, still some hop fruitiness. Drinks surprisingly easy, definitely feels lower abc than it actually has. Great double IPA, totally satisfying. bb (9311) - Alamo, California, USA - AUG 23, 2016
Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Light malt and light grapefruit aroma with light caramel. Grapefruit and pine flavor with light caramel. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and caramel lingers with light pine. graham_murphy (681) - - AUG 7, 2016
wow - quite a lot in there. Grapefruit quite clear on the nose. And then in the taste too against a sweet caramel malt - citrus, some pine and herbal notes. ABV well hidden alright. Dangerous, this one.

Bottle from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Thick caramel nose, with big citrus (grapefruit) and pine. Hazy, near cloudy, gold leafy. Caramel, resiny hop (with a bit of burn), some spiciness, and long bitter tracks. Medium-heavy body, with rich and rough hop texture. Hides the alc. very well. Hop-heavy mixed up blend, but tasty and malty as well. LazyPyro (1217) - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - APR 5, 2016
355ml bottle from Favourite Beers, Cheltenham. Hazy orange colour with a small stable white head. Aroma is strong hops, grapefruit, touch of malt, also some herbal notes. Flavour is very hoppy, bitter, fruit, pine, malt notes. The aftertaste is quite bitter and floral/herbal. Alcohol is well hidden. Rasmus40 (20984) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 25, 2016

Draft pour pint athe Scuttlebutt. Pours an orange copper color with a lasting fizz head. Grain forward aroma. I actually enjoy this much more after it sat and wares up a bit. Good flavors, really came out this way. Some orange, and a balanced grains and hop finish. Pretty good. Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - MAR 18, 2016
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass:
Hazy orange body with a small vast and thick creamy head.
Aromas of hops, malts, creamy, cookies, yellow fruit...
Flavour is chalky with hops and bitters, some malts, some hop fruits, biscuit, bit of alcohol. Not really a DIPA, but still ok.
Aftertaste is hoppy and bitter, or bitter hoppy. Herbal and malty...
Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied.
