COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our creamy porter is ideal for the dark beer connoisseur. It has a lightly roasted flavor with hints of chocolate and peat. A smooth finish and superb balance make it enjoyable going down. The secret to this beer is the extra aging. Even those just getting started with darker beers enjoy this one

Bottle. Wood, cherry, chocolate malt, and fresh hay aroma. Black with giant tan head. Mildly sweet cherry chocolate malt, and moderately bitter/astringent fresh hay flavor. Okay body. On the dry side.

Bomber from Total Wine, Fredericksburg. Pours nearly black with a beige head. Aroma is cocoa powder, nuts, some sort of green vegetation? Flavor is roasted malt, a tangy something or other that just doesn’t seem like it belongs, and finishes quite thin. Carbonation is way overdone. I’m wondering if this is an old bottle. Something just seems off.

beautiful appearance of dark brown colour and large stable creamy beige head; aroma of roasted nuts, cocoa powder and some unripe plum, as well as licorice notes; taste is the same with dark chocolate and sourish coke-like notes; good porter

22 oz bomber, Xfinity Arena, Everett. A beer I’ve seen around, but never had a good enough reason to pull the trigger. Hockey is a good reason. Local brews. God damn I want an NHL team. Pours a near black with a tan fizz head. Very cola pour. Roasted malt, soft chocolate aroma. A pounder of a porter for sure. A bit dusty on the malt side. Slight vanilla. Cocoa. Good porter

Pours cola brown with an off-white creamy head that lingers. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, and some fig. Roasted malt flavor with chocolate, and dark fruit. Decent beer.

Poured from 22 oz. bottle. Translucent dark brown with a light tan head and good lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, lactose, decomposing leaves, off fruit and toffee. Taste of sour cream, roasted malt, dry leaves, lactose and rotting cantaloupe. There are positives to the flavor, but something is definitely off. Medium/light body and medium/low carbonation with a slick mouthfeel. I tried this 5 years ago and thought I had hit a bad bottle. [Note to self. Never buy this again.] ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draft at SeaTac airport. Dark brown and, well, porter looking. A small off white blotchy layer of foam that leaves a little droopy lacing. This is earthy and roasty with grain. Some chicory effects along with gentle fruit. It is pretty much a classic American porter. The fruit becomes melons and mangoes and the roast fades some. The finish is a little thin And somehow a little fishy, almost like an oyster stout. And the final sips give some hop based bitterness.

Bottle at home. Aroma is dark malt, plenty of chocolate, coffee, roast, touch of fruits with an unexpected but welcome hint of funk. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Fairly light but pleasant Porter, good chocolate roast and some funk.
