Our creamy porter is ideal for the dark beer connoisseur. It has a lightly roasted flavor with hints of chocolate and peat. A smooth finish and superb balance make it enjoyable going down. The secret to this beer is the extra aging. Even those just getting started with darker beers enjoy this one

22 oz bottle poured into a shaker style pint glass. Aroma is caramel and roasted malt, slight raisin, and faint smoke. Maybe a little nutty. Pours with a few soda-like bubbles and retains no foam or lacing. Taste is malty caramel with a dry roasted malt finish and hints of raisins and smoke. Decently long finish for a beer of moderately low strength. Palate is well balanced - between the medium low carbonation and roasty dryness and the caramel/raisin sweetness. The smoke is still present but not in sufficient quantity to add or detract from this beer. Overall very tasty for a porter of this strength but not something I would go out of my way to try again.

22 oz bomber, Xfinity Arena, Everett. A beer Ive seen around, but never had a good enough reason to pull the trigger. Hockey is a good reason. Local brews. God damn I want an NHL team. Pours a near black with a tan fizz head. Very cola pour. Roasted malt, soft chocolate aroma. A pounder of a porter for sure. A bit dusty on the malt side. Slight vanilla. Cocoa. Good porter

Poured from 22 oz. bottle. Translucent dark brown with a light tan head and good lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, lactose, decomposing leaves, off fruit and toffee. Taste of sour cream, roasted malt, dry leaves, lactose and rotting cantaloupe. There are positives to the flavor, but something is definitely off. Medium/light body and medium/low carbonation with a slick mouthfeel. I tried this 5 years ago and thought I had hit a bad bottle. [Note to self. Never buy this again.] ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draft at SeaTac airport. Dark brown and, well, porter looking. A small off white blotchy layer of foam that leaves a little droopy lacing. This is earthy and roasty with grain. Some chicory effects along with gentle fruit. It is pretty much a classic American porter. The fruit becomes melons and mangoes and the roast fades some. The finish is a little thin And somehow a little fishy, almost like an oyster stout. And the final sips give some hop based bitterness.

Took me a while to get through it for some reason - maybe I was off. Quite a thin porter with a decent blend of liquorice, coffee, stewweggdss caasdfbsgj, mfdzdgmbdaadgh,,

Bottle, Brewdog Leicester. Very dark brown with a thin head. Toffee and raisins with lemon. Gritty dark chocolate. Woody with earthy coffee and funky tart berries. Musty yeast. Spicy finish. Unusual porter.

Bottle @Home (Ryder Cup Day 1 2016 tasting). Pours black tan head. Nose is tart, funk, candy and vinegar, this is obviously wrong. Yep this has gone, ther is a slight sweetness at first then a tart, funky vinegar comes along. Will try to get another bottle.
