Overall: boring. JPDIPSO (6223) - Wauwatosa, USA - SEP 28, 2016
Copper color with a taller light tan head. Dried and slightly toasted grain aromas. Thick sheet of lace. Slight sweetness. Some dry toasted malt flavors. Some light soap and mild pine. Not finding this one to be much beyond ordinary. 1/11

Bottle from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Rich roasty nose, piney hop, some earthy tree bark spiciness. Thin Amber color. Thick caramel, offset by an abundance of dark piney bittering, moderates and weakens a bit in late mid palate. Fairly mild but definite bitter tracks in finish. Medium body. Nice aromas, to be sure (good malt/hop balance). Okay flavors. Earthy and hoppy. dews (25) - TAIWAN - DEC 18, 2015
No strong aroma, taste little bittle, good and moderate hops. cheap only NT69 dollar. not much bubble. snoworsummer (5698) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - FEB 2, 2014
From a bottle. Pours hazy brown with a foamy beige head and lots of lacing. Tastes like roasted grains and malt, light bitterness and burnt toast flavor. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like roasted grains and toast, light sweetness.

Not a fan. Not overly hoppy nor does it have a good flavor or balance. Head retention similar to style, color is nice, aroma is weak, taste is just not that good.

Nitro at Buckeroo:Hazy amber, lasting beige head. Light citrus nose.Start is very sweet, a bit too much so, medium strength hop finish.
Honey and pineapple nose, with lesser pine notes. Hazy amber, thick yellow head. Grapefruit peel and pine flavor, not IPA strength, but hoppy for an amber. Intermittent teasing of honey to give the illusion of balance, which is nice, but this is unmistakably hop forward. Medium body, easy carbonation. Another solid pale ale masquerading as an amber, not that there’s anything wrong with that.
