22 oz bottle served in a SA lager glass.
Red-brown body covered by a bone-colored head that’s small but durable.
This otherwise bland amber is redeemed by a surprising (i.e., not evident in the aroma or initial taste) bit of spicy hop flavor that comes in the finish and lingers on in the aftertaste.
Feel: Crisp, medium body with medium+ carbonation. Ibrew2or3 (8614) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - SEP 26, 2013
12oz bottle pours with a clear amber body and copper edges supporting a dirty white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up malts, some roasted malts, muted pine hops and then a mild mix of earthy tea hops, slight citrus hard candy note and fruity esters. Smells alright. The taste is similar with pine and earthy tea like hops that are having a good time together and deliver a pleasing load of hop bitterness. Behind these hops are bits of citrus hops, roasted malts and a biscuit malt note. Pretty darn nice hop forward session brew. MadRobin (2988) - Silver Spring, Maryland, USA - AUG 22, 2013
Poured from bottle at a "Dog Days of Summer" beer tasting at Total Wine and Beer in McClean, VA.
Lightly hazy, dark amber red-copper wives pale khaki head and very good lacing.
Aroma of bread, caramel, toffee and grass.
Taste of toffee, caramel, spice, floral and pine.
Light/medium body and medium carbonation.

Poured dark amber w/ little to no head. Aroma of malt. Carbonation on the tongue is very strong and tingly. Smooth sipping. Tastes of caramel, bread, malt and hops. Finish is dry and delicious. Low abv w/ no alc taste at all. Could drink this one all day at the pub. Very nice brew! Beergeek23322 (2602) - Chester, Virginia, USA - AUG 14, 2013
September 2012. From bottle. Average amber ale with buttery caramel flavors, malt, spice, yeast. Nothing special.

Appearance: clear deep copper with sticky light tan head. Aroma: toasty sweet malts, some caramel, a dose of earthy hops, brown sugar. Taste: some grapefruit and floral hops, easily balanced and then slightly overpowered by slightly chewy, sweet malts (caramel, toffee, nuts, brown sugar). Finish: a lingering tang of hops trying to come back against the bigger malt bill, with a palate full enough to satisfy even at 5%. Notes: I’ve been on a hunt for a kickass Irish Red/Amber Ale. This wasn’t it, but it was solid enough and at $3.99 for a 1pt6oz bottle, I’m not sorry I tried it.

12 oz. bottle at home. Pours clear amber with a small, frothy white head, short retention with spotty lacing. Aroma is toast and nutty malt, grapefruit and floral hops with light peach esters. Flavor is moderate hops and bitterness tipping the balance over the toasted malts. Some light fruit notes with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation. Bottle. Dark amber pour with a short tan head. Aroma is earthy and nutty with floral notes and caramel. Taste is nutty with fliral and earthy hops, soft spicy hops and big chewy caramel notes. Body is medium with a strong dense carbonation. Ends with caramel, chocolate covered nuts, earthy hops, floral notes, light fruit and soft spucy hops. yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 30, 2013
Bottle, 22oz. A lightly hazy beer, amber in color and topped by a small, dense, off-white to light beige head. Quite hoppy aroma, piney and citrusy, with caramel maltyness in the back. Some bitterness in the flavor, but not too much, balancing the caramel maltyness quite good. Full body with pleasant carbonation. Citrus peel and some tropical fruit notes in the else bitter and caramel malty finish. Sure a tasteful one, drinks easy, but it’s a bit too malty on a summer day this hot. 130630 Suttree (6392) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 30, 2013
Copper, thin white head. Faint aroma of toffee and caramel Taste is caramel and not much else. I do get some piney, woody flavors. Simple, but tasty.
