COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our vanilla stout is a full bodied stout with some malty sweetness and mild hop notes, which are generally characteristic of an imperial stout. This beer has a stronger malt flavor from chocolate and crystal malts, and American hops give this stout a little kick. Vanilla pods from Africa were added to the beer for a week to give it a warm vanilla taste and nose.

Dark black with tan cappachino colored head. Aroma of herb and vanilla, malt backbone. At 8.5%, not a session beer but a nice way to finish up the evening.

A dark brown stout with a thin lacing brown head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with loads of vanilla extract, pleasant and sweet, like Nestlé quick. In mouth, a nice bitter chocolate with coffee grind, light vanilla extract, smooth warming alcohol, very nice. On tap at brewery.

keg at brewery bar
Rich vanilla on nose, full bodied with robust toasty malt which balances that rich vanilla fairly well. warming and filling this is a fireside sipper. restores faith in the brewery somewhat.
