From 12oz bottle, labeled Kennebunkport Blueberry Ale, poured into tulip glass, bought at Trader Joe’s as single for around $1.07milewide (2303) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - OCT 6, 2015
Aroma: loads of blueberry, reminds me of blueberry pancakes
Appearance: orange, clear, minimal white head
Taste: medium sweet
Palate: light body, thin texture, sweet finish
Overall: Great aroma, but the taste doesn’t match up with the aroma. Definitely a lot of blueberries in there, just something in the taste that’s a tad off for me. Very thin, almost watery. Very clear and I’m not sure there’s any wheat in this ale.
Got a rush of blueberries at first opening. Purple amber color. Flavor has some blueberry, but hop bitterness prevailed. patricks110 (2548) - Alberta, CANADA - SEP 23, 2015
Really quite bad. Too sweet and the flavours aren’t really in harmony. Light wheat malt is a bit crisp and the blueberry is fake tasting. Light and easy going body. Very easy to drink ryanfolty (2585) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - AUG 30, 2015
August 30, 2015 - on tap at Orlando brewpub. Clear golden pour with some head and a blueberry floating at the top. Aroma was like a blueberry muffin. Taste was grainy with some blueberry. bshep (155) - - AUG 26, 2015
Blueberry was very noticeable without being over powering like other blueberry beer. Didn’t taste like blueberry AND beer, it tasted like a blueberry beer

I poured it from the bottle into a pint glass. It pours a golden color with a big white head. There is very little lacing, which dissipates quickly. The aroma is very strong blueberry with some wheat. The taste is very sweet blueberry with hints of bread and grain. It tastes kind of like a blueberry muffin. It’s pretty thin and crisp. I was disappointed. It’s just too sweet for me. maley1 (1301) - Calgary, CANADA - JUL 29, 2015
Apparently quite a discrepancy between bottle and tap ratings. On tap for me. Pours a cloudy amber with a slight hue of purple, and an off white head. Aroma of wheat and blueberries, suprise! Taste of wheat, sweet ripe blueberries, suprise! Light bodied, medium carbonation, nice subtle blueberry finish. This is a simple but actually pretty good refreshing fruit beer. Try on tap if possible, sounds way better than the bottle. superspak (5874) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - JUL 16, 2015
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of blueberry, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of blueberries, pale malt, and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of blueberry, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light earthy/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of blueberry, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Good robustness and balance of blueberries, pale malt, and earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Not too dry after the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is a nice fruit wheat. All around good balance and robustness of blueberries, pale malt, and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. I would have preferred to see some wheat yeast influence in the flavors for a bit more complexity; but it was still a nicely enjoyable offering. beer_rookie (635) - Arkansas, USA - JUL 15, 2015
UPDATED: JUL 19, 2015 Pours a gold color. Not a lot of head. Some lacing. Eh, I?m not sure how too rate it. Average, I guess.
Aroma immediately from opening is wildly amazingly blueberry. It?s almost nothing beyond the blueberry. It?s hard to tell. It?s very blueberry.
Taste is pretty good. It doesn?t really taste like blueberry so much. I think the blueberry flavor actually comes from the aroma. It reminds you of blueberry as you drink it. I think of a blueberry muffin as I drink it. Blueberry from the aroma, and grains in the muffin. I?m not so convinced that it?s a wheat beer. It has many aliases, so I can?t be sure.
Mouthfeel is medium. It?s not real heavy. It?s a little wet on the finish. It?s quite refreshing. It does leave a little blueberry aftertaste. It?s sweet all the way around.
If you like fruity beers, this is your thing. It?s somewhere between beer and wine cooler. It?s good. It?s different. I?ve never had a blueberry beer before, so this was different. I like this pretty well. I would do this again, but more importantly I would try something else from this brewer. It?s worth a try! DrBeer (862) - Solna Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 13, 2015
Copper colour, no head.
Malty nose with notes of fruits, blueberries, strawberries, phenols and some hops.
Roasted flavour with nutty notes. Fruity finish with low bitterness.
