2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A very middle-of-the-road beer. Rather thin and lacking character of any kind. Drinks easy on a hot day, but certainly nothing to look forward to.
Bottle into glass..funky aroma..and weird malty taste.. not one I would ever do again.. meh....grody to the maxx ads135 (5207) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - DEC 18, 2013
An overall bland beer. Wheat and grass. Light yellow and unassuming. A little bit of lemon. RSRIZZO (2034) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - DEC 16, 2012
12oz Bottle (courtesy of Headbanger) labeled as KBC Wheat and that it has 5.1%ABV. Color is a hazy gold with good carbonation and a big white rocky head. Aroma of white pepper and wheat. It has a lighter medium body with a crisp and very fizzy mouth feel. Flavor is sweet malted wheat a bit of spice and citrus. After taste is clean with a note of fruit hanging on. Overall its not bad for a basic wheat but not that good ether, maybe a little sweet. rumproasts (6052) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - SEP 17, 2012
bottle. golden with small head. of the three kbc beers, i’ve had, this is the best. unfortunately, that’s not saying much. pretty standard wheat beer. light clove. nick76 (4403) - Tampa, Florida, USA - FEB 18, 2012
The aroma is pretty weak but has wheat, malt, alcohol, and hay like hops. The appearnace is golden with an average head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall a good beer but nothing to write home about.

Bottle from Trader Joe’s - labeled as Kennebunkport Wheat Beer. Mostly clear light gold pour with a very minimal white head. I agree with seymour below - I was also strongly reminded of a German kristalweizen when I sampled this. A bit of a funky malt aroma with mild clove/spices, palate is a bit heavier than the appearance would suggest (but far from heavy), and the taste is lemongrass, a touch of hops, and some spice. Not too bad, but a bit of a different animal than I thought I was getting when this was listed as a wheat beer. dredmond (179) - Long Island, New York, USA - DEC 3, 2011
drank from 12 fl oz glass bottle, noticeable aftertaste, notes of wheat, filling shrubber85 (11706) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - NOV 13, 2011
Bottle (Kennebunkport Brewing Company from Trader Joes). Lemon and wheat malt aroma. Clear golden yellow color with moderate white head. Lightly sweet lemon and stale wheat malt flavor. Standard. seymour (2121) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - NOV 7, 2011
Bottle from Trader Joe’s labelled KBC Wheat Beer. Poured a clear, light amber-orange color with weak off-white head which faded quickly, no lace. Swirling it did not revive any foam. Aroma and flavor was more reminiscent of the German kristal weizen style than a Belgian wit. Tart, slightly sour citrus, but few pepper/clove/banana esters. No real hops bitterness, a little more in the flavor. Light-medium body, moderate carbonation, lasting fruity aftertaste finishes to dryness. Drinkable, but somewhat mediocre. fata2683 (2202) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - OCT 19, 2011
bottle, labeled KBC wheat, pours light yellow thin white head. Aroma and flavor is very citrus forward with very sweet malt character. Eh.
