3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draught at the brewpub. Pours amber with a lasting white head. Aroma is sweet hops, with plenty of fresh citrus. Flavor is moderately sweet, with quite a bit of hops, mostly of the nectar-ish, citrus variety, especially with the malt backing. Finish is a bit more straight bitterness from the hops, possibly a bit overdone. Quite enjoyable overall; an above-average strong IPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at the brewpub. Amber color with a sticky, lasting white head. fruity hop aroma with some pineapple and grapefruit peel. Nicely hoppy overall. The flavor is pretty hoppy with a strong bitterness, but with a nice toasty and lightly crystal-sweet malt profile. Clean fermentation character. Medium sweetness with higher bitterness. Medium body with a smooth texture. Bitter finish that is probably a touch to high on IBUs for the overall flavor. Noce nose and hop flavor, though a bit heavy handed all around.
