This beer is a traditional filtered Pacific Northwest India Pale Ale. Although golden in color, this is not a light beer. With more than 60 bitterness units it’s got a bite to it, but is well balanced by the sweetness of a 7.4% alcohol by volume brew. This a is a very aggressive tasting beer.

Not Bad. Does have some pine and grapefruit notes as stated below. The flavor gets better at a lower temp. Stays carbinated (Which is a positive for me) Been drinking the same bottle for over an hr. only 12 miles from brewery. U Save store in S Valley has it 7.3% 22 OZ Bottle.

Creamy not overly hoppy. Slight bitter on the back end. Overall pretty darn good ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grapefruit hoppy aroma. Fruity malty grapefruit hoppy bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty grapefruit hoppy bitter finish.

Meh. Copper colored standard old school kinda boring IPA. Gf and pine and herbal, lightly bitter.

BVery (11458) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 21, 2015
Tap at the brewpub. Mostly clear golden pour. Big bitter astringent unbalanced IPA like you’d find at small town brewpubs 20 years ago. Not good.

aabean (17) - Ohio, USA - JUL 26, 2015
On tap at brewery. Pours clear golden, thin white head. Strong pine with grapefruit and hints of lemon. Doesn’t have the bite as advertised. Dry finish. Lingering malts.

AdamChandler (5206) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - JAN 24, 2014
Oak color. Strange nose. Bitter but weak. Could be woody as well. Taste is malty. Sweet. A strange tootsie roll taste. Molasses and pie

brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - DEC 2, 2013
On tap @ Seabright. Orange pour with a white head. Grass, orange, and some pine aromas. A light bread aroma and sweetness. Flavor is bitter grass, pine, and grain. Some orange and lemon peel notes, too. Mild malt sweetness, too.

Blairgus (4615) - California, USA - JUN 9, 2013
8 June 2013, can. Dark yellow. Nose is pine, grapefruit, and sweet alcohol. Thin body and moderately fizzy. Bubble gum, piney, moderate alcohol presence. Rather bitter, lasting finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ungstrup (38863) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 18, 2010
Draft. An unclear golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops - from the CCC series I guess. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hops, and citrus fruits - especially lemon, leading to a bitter finish.

tekhna (118) - California, USA - SEP 18, 2009
On tap at the brewery. Excellent lacing, poor aroma, generic color, bitter, not much late-kettle hop addition. Pretty generic. Not bad, not good. Just sort of there.
