Clear orange-amber coloured beer with a big white disappearing head. The aroma is alcohol and light fruity. The mouthfeel is rather soft with a sweet fruity taste. Light sweet spicy finish. JorisPPattyn (10112) - BELGIUM - FEB 14, 2004
Hazy orange-amber; cream-coloured head, fast dwindling to white rim. Alcoholic nose, herbal, compound spicey (pepper, sandalwood, coriander, nutmeg, orangezest). Peppery, fruity (banana, Reine Claude) and woody taste - some tannines if you ask me. Sweet, but nowhere cloying. Ah! rather refreshing mouthfeel despite all the loading (there's REALLY fruit in this beer). For a Walloonian beer, this seems remarkably iron-free liquor. Long peppery aftertaste. Again a beer, well-worth looking for. Following the brewer, the main difference with the Yellow are the home-grown hops. sayravai (4711) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 8, 2004
Muddy, dark amber color, loads of yeast floating around. Fruity, yeasty aroma. Fruity flavor (banana). Well balanced beer, soft carbonation. Quite nice, above average belgian ale.
