Seasonal beer from the former brewery Mortal’s Beers with cream white, sticky, thick head and deep, warm, orange blond colour, cloudy with pale protein flakes and calm sparkling. Fruity aroma of pineapple, orange, raspberry, walnuts, grass, caramel, dried leaves, whisky, peat. Fruity taste with a sharpish, tangy, appetizing citrus peel ’spritziness’ and lively carbonation, on a soft, round caramel malt base, peppery and leafy hops in the finish with strong alcohol presence, nearly astringent; a subtle fruit tartness accompanies the whole palate from onset to finish. I had a weakness for these Mortals and still regret their demise. thewolf (12744) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUN 9, 2011

Pours light hazy amber with a small, creamy, white head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, caramel, peach, lemons. Medium carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour is soft, a hint of metallic oxidation, malty, caramel, sweet, mild peppery finish. Okay.
33cl, recently out of business, exclusive brewery, last tasted one year ago from the brewery, complex, balanced, hazy, good head, good brew JoeinDahlem (1595) - Berlin, GERMANY - APR 7, 2008
Less weird and more immediately likable than other Mortal beers I’ve tried. Thanks again Sebastian for sharing. 33 cL pours golden-amber, nicely laced and tall white head that recedes. Spicy, grainy, dry-herbal nose. Inviting. Flavor is lightly sweet, a bit fruity, going peppery and slightly dry, with an odd tang in the back of the throat. Enjoyable but unfortunately not very representative of the rest of Mortal’s beers. beerbuzzmontreal (3487) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 17, 2008
Bottle sampled at Delirium Café. Pours a clear dark golden color with a thick, bubbly, white head. Solid aroma of flowers, hops and yeast. Very good flavor of flowers, hay, hops, fruits and yeast with a dry presence in the end. The body is light with a creamy texture and gentle carbonation. I finally get to try a Mortals and I’m impressed.
