Bottle from Bier Vila, Blumenau. Black. Has abundant coffee aroma, and bitter chocolate. Similar palate, soft malts, lots of chocolate with light coffee notes. Right on. digopossobon (390) - MACAE, BRAZIL - SEP 20, 2014
Aroma de malte, algo de torrefação.
Sabor intenso de café, folhas, muita torrefação. Tem um que de picante.
Ótimo amargor residual. Dedalops (13) - Nova Lima, BRAZIL - APR 22, 2014
Sevenlee (1846) - Central Coast, NSW, AUSTRALIA - MAY 6, 2012
Pours totally black with a light brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and vanilla notes. Taste is also roasted malt, coffee and chocolate leading to a bitter and roasty finish. Pretty good.

AROMA: bread, cereal, chocolate, coffee, toast, roasty, resinous and grassy hops;
APPEARANCE: black robe, brown foam;
TASTE: medium sweetness, medium bitterness, cold coffee, dark cacao;
OVERALL: A good surprise, overally very acceptable for the style and also when it comes to the brewing norms of Brazil. I would say that it is not very complex and that it lacks in body but I tend to think that this would be unfair to compare this beer with American and Danish classics; hence I have to compare this with South American brews; and in this category, this is a pretty good beer.
