Aroma: The nose is malty and nutty, toast, and some caramel/toffee notes
Appearance: It pours a brown color with a light brown head and some average lace
Flavor: Tastes malty, similar to the nose component-wise, not overly sweet, not much bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium and it is perfectly drinkable with a fine mouthfeel to it
This is a fine brown, but it was nothing too memorable. If your looking for a quaffable brown you could certainly do far worse...
Pours a clear brown color with a small long lasting white head. Aroma of caramel mats and some floral hops. Taste is mostly sweet with a medium body and a nice small hop finish. Not bad at all JaBier (8178) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - JUL 31, 2013

The brown is a pretty good beer with a dark brown color and nice aroma. It has a good level of roasted malt with a nice hop finish. I have had this on draft many times and it is consistently good. If you like a little more hop, I would try the red and if you like more malt, the stout would be for you. This one falls somewhere in between. czar (9338) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 8, 2013
on tap at brewpub. clear brown-reddish with a decent beige head, some retention. perfumed nuttiness, awkward caramel and minerals. moderate carbonation, light body, light herbal finish. meh. rondphoto (4490) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - JUL 2, 2013
Nearly opaque dark amber, long-lasting head cover, thick sheets of lace. Taste is semi-sweet malt with mild hops mixed in all the way through. At the finish, carbonation and a slightly warm sweetness appear, bringing things to a nice close. Simple, but good considering the abv. j12601 (13035) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUN 28, 2013
