Runabout Red Ale is a classic. It is brewed with three malt varieties which create the sweet malty backbone and deep amber color. The bready malt character transitions to grassy hops that glide on your palate with every sip.

Ok but not great. Moderate hop flavor with not a lot else going on. A little watery.

Malt and yeast slightly floral cut grass smells. Pours cloudy orange reddish brown with a high rocky tan head. Lacing. A sour start moves to caramel notes and finishes metalic sour. Medium carboantion. Balanced and drinkable.

Pours a light amber color with a finger of eggshell foam. Nose is soft caramel with light grassy undertones. Palate is sweet bready malts, lingering grainy rustic notes and a hint of grassy citrus bitterness in the finish.

Pours clear a golden red with an off white head the leaves lacing and a thin head. The nose is malt. Body is medium. Taste is cleanly malt with ever so slight sweetness and dark chocolate. The bitter aftertaste is attenuated but does linger. 12 oz can More cans!

On tap at Sebago. Pours red with fluffy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of some hops, caramel malt and red fruit. Body is medium and crisp. Earthy hops, caramel malt and ripe fruit nicely balanced on the pallet. Finish is long and earthy. Overall it is nice session brew.

Pours clear media copper with small beige head. Almost no bubbles. Light wheat aroma and not much else to speak of. This beer has an overpowering finish flavor of a wheat beer. Good mouth feel - clean and smooth. I’m not a big fan of wheat beers or beers that have a similar flavor, but other than that this beer is not bad.

A gift from a really good friend whom is part of a beer of the month club. It’s red, not exactly the alcohol content I usually shop for, but again it is red.

Holdwine (1227) - Beertimore, Maryland, USA - JUL 2, 2015
On draft. Pretty average red. Decent color. Malt is pleasantly toasty. Not much else going on.

Looks great this is a light maroon with an off-white head. Fairly bland aroma of beeriness along with some yeasty fruits. It tastes good, there’s honey, herbs, caramel and a little bitterness. Thin and flat mouthfeel. Good execution of a fairly boring style.

Reds don't get enough credit. This is a solid everyday drinking beer. Has the nice red Amber color and a nice red aroma. The flavor is as it should, malty sweet with a nice balance. My only critique is it's a bit th ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle One of the beers given to me each month The ale poured clear amber color with an off white head and lacing. The aroma is mild but of caramel and bready malts. The ale had a medium body with soft carbonation. The ale has a dry finsih ending with an easy drinking swallow.
