Nice aroma with the chocolate and the pepper isn't too large. You can tell it's there, but it's a balanced addition instead of the main note. ironcontra (494) - ATL, Georgia, USA - DEC 13, 2017
sweet, chocolate, oats , chile. they went a bit overboard with the spices this time, somewhat jarring and jumbled, tires over the can's duration, w a weird tart vector at the end. doable tho - points for courage, not one for the purists. kevintodddunn (2) - - DEC 8, 2017 does not count
Had at Tinplate in Conyers, GA. Very good offered up by Danny. I had just previously tasted a Brown Ale, so going to this beer a little more creamy and a little flavor of black pepper. Not sure if that was just a leftover affect. However, I like that flavor.

Smells like rye bread to me. I really like how they were able to stick to the characteristics of a porter and then turn it up a notch without going outside the profiles of the style. They almost do a disservice to the beer by listing all of he spices and flavor of the can because they really blend well and don't jump out in a fake way. Tastes like real cocoa and the chiles are very very subtle. Nicely done.

Can from Hop City Krog Market picked up on my CTP-ATP trip; enjoyed in the lovely ATL Hampton. Looks like your normal dark, porter pour but the aroma is fairly light with some light molasses. The flavor is bigger with some spice, coffee and dark malt. Okay but expected some more enhanced flavors and aromas based on the ingredient list.

Sweet, roasty, mole-sauce and a little bit of chili in the mouth. Medium-to-full body. chocolate finish with a little chili. drfabulous (8995) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - JUN 7, 2017
12 ounce can. Brown looking pour with some big spice notes upfront. Definite cloves in this one. Ok. Spices overpower. DSG (15519) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JUN 5, 2017

Can. Pours a clear light brown body with a one finger frothy beige head. The nose is pretty light, some chocolate, minimal peppers, just a hint of cinnamon. The flavor is pretty decent, rather mild on the ’mole’ qualities, but I think that’s a fairly good thing. Nice chocolate malt, and subtle cinnamon and chilis. Some lingering sweetness on the finish. Light bodied with soft fizzy carbonation and a slightly watery texture. Decent porter, I like that they were pretty easy going on the spices.
