2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Rating #5 for this Badass Beer. This must be the new hotness from China. Unsurprisingly, it sucks, but it is cold, and I am hot, so it’s all good.
330ml can from a supermarket in Xiamen. Pours yellow with a disappearing white head. Sweet malty aroma. Slightly oily sweet taste with some medicine. Sweet finish. At least it has some body. ronaldtheriot (1932) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - JUL 13, 2013
NOTE: This sample was from a can that was 11 months past the best buy date. Sedrin has a medium, quickly-dissipating, stark-white head, a clear, bubbly (etched glass), light straw appearance, and no lacing left behind. The aroma is sweet, full, and grainy, and the flavor is of sweet, mellow rice and barley malt, with a dash of hops at the end for balancing. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Sedrin finishes dry, crisp, refreshing, and drinkable. Nothing spectacular here, but enjoyable. It grows on the drinker as one drinks it down. Overall, it’s alright, and I score it at the lower end of "good". RJT JCB (3999) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUL 1, 2011
Whoa, only three ratings? Where is RB China? At any rate, sprung for this at 456, whose food is thankfully light years beyond the bev selection. I’m not ashamed: I bypassed Tsingtao and Tiger just for the tick. Fizzy yellow lager, with a grainy nose and a taste that’s almost entirely anonymous but for the slightly bitter finish. jredmond (8284) - New York, New York, USA - MAR 13, 2011
Bottle purchased from Ramses on 51st and 10th in NYC. Pours clear yellow. Aroma is sweet malts. Mouthfeel is thin and carbonated with sweet malty notes. Not a terrible lager.

UPDATED: AUG 9, 2010 Bottle. Oh man, this beer was not totally awesome. One caveat: it may have been a little out of code. Poured a clear, light gold with a fizzy white head. Nose of sweet malt. Flavor was a little syrupy sweet, and there didn’t seem to be much offsetting bitterness. Light in body with bubbly carbonation. Finished with a kind of unpleasant sweetness. beerbill (3618) - Laurel, New York, USA - NOV 9, 2009
11.2 oz. green bottle. Pours a crystal clear light gold with a thin-moderate white head that vaporized by the first sip and left no lace. Some moderate skunk in the nose along with some strong grainy malt. The flavor has that same strong grainy malt but is thankfully absent the skunkiness found in the aroma. There is some very slight sweetness to the flavor as well. Very mild hops bitterness at the finish. Heavily carbonated.
