Pours murky amber, with a medium sized tan head. Aroma of caramel, fig, and overripe fruit. Flavor begins with caramel, orange, fig, apricot and mild spice. Finishes with fizzy and spice. Medium bodied and really drinkable.

UPDATED: MAR 4, 2011 More UFO’s than beer (colour of orange juice) under the medium high, dense white head, gone after a minute or so. Sourish grainy nose, milky and milkripe grain. Dry, with a sourish finish of every sip. Faintly spicy and distinctly bready. Finish has something of the preserved ginger, served with sushi. Refreshing, spritzy, light. Huge points for originality, and certainly not bad at that (am I Antwerpener, or not?). If only the looks - and I’m not a particulary harsh judge in that particular field... Many thanks to Stef C.!
