This beer is marketed pretty intensive in Belgium, and with the story behind it,I was expecting something decent. However, the dissapointment was shocking ( ok, maybe a little exagerated). I really did not like the combination of the doughy;very sweet taste together with the sourness. However,in due time I will try it again and update the review.

Lichtgeel, troebel, veel gist, witte schuimkraag, veel koolzuur. Aroma: Tarwemouten, gist, banaan, bubblegum, koriander, kruidnagel, zoetig. Aroma van een witbier. Smaak: Citrus, koriander, banaan, fruitig.

Smells much more like a sour beer than I thought it would, little bit of sweetness in there too...Taste is similar...Like a sour beer without the Sourness... Interesting...Some complexity and smooth but the flavor isnt really my type...Finish is medium sweet flowers

Bottled, 330ml from The Wine Rack at Yarnton Nurseries, Yarnton, Oxon. Gold with white head. There are pear drops on the nose straight off, on drinking this follows through along with estery banana, fruity notes. Heavy Belgian yeasty flavours along with hints of spice, herby type notes. Unremitting throughout. Decent beer with a lot of interest.

Bottler from beergium.com. Pours hazy orange. Nose is banana, bubblegum, citrus. Palate is almost like a weizen, starting with banana, but different middle with bitter hoppy notes, sticks to the lips. Finish is a bit soapy. Not bad, interesting style.

Appearance clear, rather diluted even, big head but disappearing fast. Aroma very spicy, bubblegum. Taste the same, warming but no complexity at all. Taste luckily not as watery as it looks. Aftertaste very fruity. Refreshing. Carbonation soft.

Bottle courtesy of Geraint and Helen, cheers you two, consumed at home Thursday 26th January 2017. Pours light gold with a sticky white head atop. Soft in the mouth, its dry, fruity and quite a decent beer, a lagery flinty edge to this. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

Aroma: Medium spicy, clove, banana, toasty, bready. Appearance: Clear, light golden body. Small white head that falls away quickly, leaving a very thin ring. Flavour: Medium toast. Medium-light spiciness, clove, pepper. Light bitterness, banana. The spiciness becomes more as the beer warms. Dry finish with lingering clove and banana. Mouthfeel: Medium body, High carbonation. Overall: Well balanced, but missing the impressive head. The beer comes forth like a weissbier with more body and alcohol. 330 ml bottle, poured. 25A. Belgian Blond Ale

Beautiful pale golden beer with light fizzy palate, light citrus fruits aromas with a dry finish. Its a simple and very refreshing beer, perfect for spring and summertime; very enjoyable it makes you smile and chill.
