2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
This beer is marketed pretty intensive in Belgium, and with the story behind it,I was expecting something decent. However, the dissapointment was shocking ( ok, maybe a little exagerated). I really did not like the combination of the doughy;very sweet taste together with the sourness. However,in due time I will try it again and update the review.
UPDATED: NOV 18, 2017 Golden colour, medium head, short retention, no head at all after a while. Small lace.
Aroma of cloves, banana, fruits.
Medium body, creamy texture, normal carbonation.
Taste of cloves, banana, citric notes, banana. Good, drinkable, but not great. MrW (740) - Mechelen, BELGIUM - NOV 13, 2017
Bottle 33cl at Lars'.
Aroma of honey, grain, spices.
Poured yellow blond, white fading head.
Taste is grain, malty. Ok. Mpuntmuts (271) - NETHERLANDS - NOV 12, 2017
Hazy yellow pour with a big white head. Smell of yeast, musty basement, banana peel and herbs(Coriander?). Taste of the yeast is prominently present, the mix of the malts cause it to feel a bit messy I think. Thin to medium bodied and medium carbo. Out of balance in my opinion, needs work. Seef of Seefbier is de naam van een historische streekbier van de stad Antwerpen. De Antwerpse Brouw Compagnie heeft het in 2012 opnieuw op de markt gebracht. Het is een troebel blond bier met een kruidige smaak.

Medium body, creamy, almost flat; poured with a 2-3 cm head and it went down almost immediately after. Although it seems like a Belgian blond, it almost feels like a German weißbier. Bottle art was the reason I got it, but can't say I'm impressed. remALUS (431) - Kaunas, LITHUANIA - SEP 18, 2017

Bottle at kulminator, antwerp. quite old, maybe 2015, bbd 24/12/2016. milky yellow color, fruit r white head that fades soon. Aroma is grainy, a bit malty, vaguely fruity, lots of yeast and starch. There are some herbal/groot and citrus notes. Taste light sweet, salty, light to medium body, strong carbonation, dry finish, yeasty, noticeable alcohol. Not really that good but local and our of the ordinary, it was a must to me. I think this one would be better very young. Piepenhenrich (1230) - Steinbach, GERMANY - AUG 26, 2017
Decent Belgian Blonde, yet hard to stand out from the masses. Not particularly special. dimeon (467) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - AUG 23, 2017
A: Slightly cloudy dark straw with a substantial white head.
N: Sweet malts, spicy
T: The sweetness and spiciness continue supported by some summer fruits.
O: Very drinkable Belgian blonde
