On tap at brewpub. Golden in color with a thin head. Hoppy and malty aroma. American hops. Hopppy and malty flavor. Crisp and refreshing. Clean tasting. Sweet tasting. Drinkable. beastiefan2k (4033) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - MAY 28, 2009
Tap @ the brewpub and a wonderful surprise, probably the best damn Cream Ale I ever had. Color is lightly hazy dark straw with visible carbonation. Has a medium sized head that never fully fades. Aroma is strong white biscuit maltiness with some sweat pea (in a good way, which may be putting the "cream’ aspect into this beer). Some light hops coming through. Flavor is what one should expect, some indistinct hops and a clean white bread maltiness. Simple, refreshing, and good. This was perfect for the outdoor seating at Selins Grove on a hot spring day. stangger (619) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 15, 2008
On tap at Selin’s Grove brewpub. Golden pour with only a hint of hoppiness and a mild yeasty/lager-like aroma. Taste is a melding of ale and lager; slightly corny, but smooth and creamy. Very light and drinkable. jredmond (8445) - New York, New York, USA - JAN 22, 2007
UPDATED: MAR 4, 2007 Smooth and sweet. Purchased this in a Growler, pours darkish yellow with small head. Delicious. Light aroma... LilBeerDoctor (4032) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 27, 2008

Very light doughy nose, touch of floral hops. Dry and soft, subtle honey mixed with crisp malt, light lemon zest and grassy hops. Excellent, I’ll have to drink more of this. harpsm (36) - Maryland, USA - AUG 18, 2014
I never thought I would rave about a cream ale, but this one was wonderful, with banana and lavender aromas and a great, rich mouthfeel. j12601 (12982) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - AUG 22, 2012
On tap at Selin’s Grove. Pours a clear gold with a medium sized white head. Soft grain, light dusty hops. Sweet and creamy, light lemon and grain. Toast, creamy, light grain. Gentle bitterness. Very drinkable. ganache (6015) - New Jersey, USA - SEP 29, 2014
Tap at SG, labelled only as ’Cream Ale’ but the abv was the same (4.5% / 1.047 OG). Pale golden with a clingy white head. Beautiful grainy-bready nose and taste, lightly sweet and juicy in-mouth, really makes you appreciate the beauty and simple pleasure of the subtle interplay between malt and fresh hops. Medium body and super moreish, light fruit in the background. Take Genny as your starting point and imagine much higher quality, cleanliness.
