Tap at Selins Grove. Pours a dark brown with a creamy light tan head. Aroma and flavor of lightly roasted and chocolate malt along with hints of mixed nuts. beerbill (3618) - Laurel, New York, USA - AUG 31, 2009
On nitro at the brewpub. Arrived at the table black with a moderate creamy off-white head that lasted until mid-glass and left patchy lace. Very pleasant aroma of roasted malt along with some chocolate. The flavor is lightly roasted malt with a bit of chocolate. Incredibly smooth and silky on the palate, and the addition of the oatmeal adds depth and body to the silky smoothness. This is simply a very, very nice stout. adrian910ss (2595) - Doylestown, PA, USA - JUN 12, 2009
On draft at the brewpub. Pours a dark maple mahogany color with a thick and creamy beige head. Aroma of light malt, light cocoa and a hint of chocolate. Taste of light malt, cocoa and chocolate. Dry taste. pjweaver (136) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - JAN 4, 2009
Smoked barley aroma with a light coffee undertone. Tastes of dark chocolate, espresso, dried cranberry. Toasty, nutty and oat-y. Bitter toasted aftertaste. Smooth and warm in the mouth. fredandboboflo (1570) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 31, 2008
Nitro. Aroma and flavor both unremarkable with bland coffee. Weak body. Eh. Apparently not interesting enough to prompt me to write enough words.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a super thick and foamy tan head like a milkshake. Aroma of light sweet roasted malt. Flavor of sweet oatmeal, roasted malt, and light bitter chocolate. Smooth from the nitro. Meh, this was ok but didn’t stand out from any other oatmeal stout. stangger (619) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 15, 2008
On tap at Selin’s Grove brewpub. Very dark, roasted malts, chocolate, thick and smooth. Probably my favorite of the bunch. auerbrau (3206) - Ithaca, New York, USA - JUL 20, 2008
On tap at the brewpub. Fresh, roasty aroma between coffee, chicory and fire. Nice crispness. Pours a black-brown with mahogany fringe and rim in tan. Flavor is gentle but rich and develop. A good interplay of roast, caramels, and coffee. Oatmeal lends a nice body fix. Easily drank, but not watery. I could see cozying up with this in the winter. Clean, with nice flavors, good roast balance and a decent texture. A fine stout. Pwn3d (1958) - Manhattan, New York, USA - JUN 1, 2008
On tap at the brewpub. My least favorite offering out of the 8 or 9 sampled. A good beer, but SG has some big beers and this gets lost in the bunch. jredmond (8645) - New York, New York, USA - MAY 26, 2008
Draft at the Brewpub. Notes of chocolate in both the aroma and taste. Some roastiness as well. Pretty easy to drink. Selinsgrove knows how to brew their shit.
