A warming golden Belgian style ale, traditionally brewed by monks. Our Triple is made with Belgian candi sugar and a special Belgian yeast strain. We carefully age it to round out this beer's complex characteristics.

neuromatt (1226) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 5, 2014
On tap at the brewpub, served in a tasting glass. Pours slightly hazy golden with a small white head that mostly remains and leaves a small amount of fine lace. The nose has notes of honey, flowers, apples, grapes and pale malts along with grass, cloves and a delicate spiciness. The flavour is moderately sweet with fruity and honey notes from the nose and a nice balancing spiciness with a grassy accent. The finish is long and slightly spicy. On the palate it is medium-full in body with a smooth, milky texture and average carbonation. Overall a nice tripel with an elegant fruity character. 2014-04-27

NeuroPliny (250) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - APR 27, 2014
Taster glass at Selin's Grove, with ML. Pours translucent amber. White head. Nose is spicey, with notes of cloves, peppercorns, and nutmeg. Flavour delivers what the nose promises with a pleasant spicy aftertaste. The medium-full body is a nice surprise given the light colour. Easy-drinking Belgium Triple.

12oz goblet at the brewery pours a translucent yellow with some thin white head. Nose is nice, candy sugar, tropical fruit, clove, some unripened peach. Flavor is the same, sweet, candy, tropical fruit, clove, a little taffy, some mild pepper. Sticky finish. Very true to style.

reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 20, 2013
pours a hazy golden color with a thin white head. aroma has light yeasty spice and fruitiness...some clove. flavor follows suit...notably clovey with hints of banana bread and light earthy hops. mouthfeel is medium/full with a dry spiced/banana bread finish. this is nice...like wells banana bread without nuttiness meets nice tripel. well done.

jercraigs (11261) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 25, 2013
2013-08-17. Lightly hazy dark yellow body with a moderate white head and lace. 3+ Aroma is lightly yeasty and alcoholic over sweet pale malt. Whispers of fruit. Flavour of sweet pale malt quickly turns dry, finishes with dry bitter alcohol, mild yeasty undertones. Floral notes as it warms up. 7+ Average plus bodied palate, modest carbonation. On tap at the brewpub.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Fruity and yeasty, with peaches and hints of spice. Pretty run-of-the-mill, but enjoyable nonetheless.

j12601 (13600) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - AUG 20, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Pours a mostly clear gold with a thin white head. Warm musk and sweet yeast. Smoked maple ham notes. Medium bodied. Sweet and estery, soft sweet candy, funky esters and yeast. Interesting.

callmemickey (4561) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 15, 2012
Hazy golden body, relatively thin white head, no lacing. Classic Belgian yeast, light lemon zest, pepper and residual sweetness. Medium bodied, a bit rough at times, assertive carbonation, residual sweetness leaves the finish a bit long.

craftycarl21 (2338) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 23, 2012
Draft at Selin’s Grove. Opaque yellow, small head. Nose and flavor bring bread, hints of clove and cinnamon, sweet peach, candied sugars, and notes of marzipan as well. Clean on the body for an 8-9% beer. True to the style, but not overwhelming.
