Hazy apple juice body topped by a white head. Aroma is medium sweet, clove, light banana, lemon. Taste is medium sweet, clove, banana, some orange. Creamy light body with faint acidity. kramer (6908) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 27, 2005
On tap at brewpub. Poured a cloudy gold with minimal head, low levels of carbonation apparent. Usual Hefe nose: bubblegum, clove, and bananas with spicy wheat accents. Heavy on the clove flavor up front, finish is more bananas. Nice chewy wheat base. Lighter bodied with lively carbonation on the palate. A middle of the road Hefe, but made to style. Could use a little more body if anything. Nejhleader (1574) - Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 23, 2005
another hefe i was kinda disappointed with. seemed a bit flat and taste wasnt’ too bold. texture was a bit thin. Did have a nice pale cloudy look, and a nice fruity aroma, but the taste wasn’t really doing it for me. pbjclimber (150) - Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 20, 2005
This is a decent wheat beer, but it is not a hefeweizen. It had no taste of cloves, banana, or esters. It almost seemed like they skipped a step when brewing this beer. dberger624 (1028) - Voorhees, New Jersey, USA - JUN 20, 2004
Sampler at the Brewery. No hefe taste what so ever. Had a slight German malt taste but that was it.

Typical appearance and head. Smell is mostly of banana, with some weak bubblegum notes, no cloves. Taste is tangy but without a lot of malt depth. Good, refreshing; yet not tops for the style.
