COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our 2013 homebrew contest had 34 entries. This beer won. One sip will tell you why. We were happy to enter it as our Pro-Am beer at the GABF. We very proudly use coffee from our neighbor DOMA coffee roasting company, in this dark ale.

On tap at bittercreek boise. Pours out dark brown topped with a tan head. Nose is coffee black licorice chocolate sweetness and malts. Taste is more of the black licorice notes sweet belg candy roast coffee.

22oz bottle, roasty aroma, taste of malts with bitter coffee, chocolate comes out at times, some dark fruits apparent, medium thick mouthfeel.

22oz bottle pours a dark brown with some foamy, white head. Nose is OK, earthy, dried cherries, big dried cracker and malt, some black tea. Flavors of cherry, dried toast, some raisin, some weird coffee cherries. Finishes tannic and dry.

From a bottle shared at the DC RB gathering Memorial Day weekend 2017 it is a darkbrown with a slight head. The aroma is toffee.and the taste is strong bitter coffee and caramel. Light bodied for an imperial porter.
