heavy (2911) - Split, CROATIA - AUG 9, 2016
Jul. ’16. A 0.33 l bottle taken at the second BiH Craft Beer Festival, Mostar. It poured a hazy, actually muddy golden body with a small head. Malty biscuit, sugar and unusual glue aroma. Flavor was bitter, herbal and grassy hoppy with strong malty base. Also had some plastic-glue off notes here. Medium to full in body with longer bitter finish intertwined with sweetish biscuit and apricot malt that helped the overall impression only a little bit. Off notes were, at moments, bothering and overwhelmed some of its really fine flavors. Turned out only okay, but I’m sure they’ll fix the errors over the time. Bottle at the beer fest in Mostar. Amber if I remember correctly. Fruity hoppy, jammy, slightly yeasty aroma. Perfumey hoppy fruity, slightly jammy taste, light apricot notes. The bitterness doesn’t come to the forefront much. Quite good!
