Black body, with a massive, stable, creamy, lacing, dark beige head.
Aroma of roast, some vegetables, some ash, dry cocoa, dark fruits.
Tastes of roasty coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, orange, dark fruits, some pine, some herbs.
Full, creamy mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes roasty-bitter, quite dry, qith coffee and dry cocoa powder.
Tasty. Not that much hops left, feels more like a Stout meanwhile. Really pleasant though, with lots of strong, dark malts. Although 5 months past the best before date, still a beer with a lot of character.
bottle shared by Saeglopur, many thanks Thomas :) black color, very big coffee-colored head. head disappears very slow. smells malty roasty, light spices, light vegetables, creamy, light smoke note. full body, medium carbonation, slick light bubbly mouthfeel. strong taste of ash, malty roastiness, some herbal notes, grass, coffee. dry / roasty bitter finish. Best before 11/2014 -
Pours pitch black with a large foamy head. Aroma of roasty malts, dark chocolate, syrup, grassy hops and citrus. Taste is roasty, chocolatey and hoppy with some grassy bitterness, coffee and licorice. Finish is hoppy, roasty and grassy with some lingering bitterness and licorice. Feels more like a hoppy stout than a black IPA.

Aroma has licorice, vichy-like elements, some ash and hints of hops. Feels a bit musty. Flavour has licorice, soy sauce, some ash and gooseberry bush. Finishes with some lingering hops and grapefruit. A bit too ashy and messy.
Bottle. Pours a black beer with a big beige head on top. Aroma is roasted, malty and has this dark, citric overall aroma to it as well. Flavor is light sweet, nice balance with some licorice to balance out the citric influences. Quite a dry finish, medium carbonation, very nice beer! TheJvd (1291) - NETHERLANDS - SEP 23, 2014

Espresso, milder Nachhall. 12/10/10/11/7/11
