From tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown to black with a tan head. Aroma is roasted and breadish malt, vague butterish note. Semi sweet malt flavoured, nice toffee and liqourice note. Subtle, yet increasing bitterness coming through into the finish providing an uplifting feel to the dense roasted malt flavours. Ends dry and lingering dark malty. joergen (28177) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 13, 2010

500 ml bottle. From Cuso. Thanks a lot!pivnizub (10624) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - NOV 20, 2011
Dark murky brown colour with small to average size creamy light tan head.
Dark malty aroma with dry liquorice, cake dough, mild caramel and touch of diacetyl. Solid flavour with roasted malt, caramel sweetness and balancing hoppy dryness. Very nice.
Lahev (many thanks to Cuso!): Deep chestnut-amber coloured, hazy, medium-sized stable rocky tanned head, slight traces of infection in the mineralic-toasty nose; pretty light bodied, sweet-bitter flavour with a delicate acidity; short and light sweetish-toasty finish with a subtle malt-bitterness and hints of milk-chocolate. A bit thin and slightly infected. Deserves a second chance....... Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - JUN 10, 2011

On tap at Bratislavský Mestiansky Pivovar: Aroma, maty, caramel, chocolate. Taste roasted malt, caramel, with nice long cofee-chocolat finish. I don’t like Dunkels so much, but this is good, complex, interesting beer.
From tap at Bratislavský Mestiansky Pivovar: Malty aroma, burnt malts, some sweetness and fruitiness. Creamy, brownish head, black color. Flavor is malty, light sweet, intensive roasted malt flavor. Notes of coffee, licorice, dark fruits and chocolate. Also some hints of smoke. Bitterness of roasted and burnt malts in the end. Dry bitterness. Complex, interesting brew.
